Carte Route Porcelaine

Explore the map!

Installed in Foëcy, Noirlac and Mehun-sur-Yèvre since the 19th century, the Berry pigs have passed on their know-how throughout the generations. Their heirs are today the first porcelain producers in France and export worldwide. The Route de la Porcelaine invites you to discover this real white gold.

In Mehun-sur-Yèvre, the Pôle de la Porcelaine brings together, in a unique museum space, unusual objects and exceptional pieces. A show evokes the genesis of porcelain: the transformation of granite into kaolin, the magic of the passage from paste to adorned vase.

Heir of a long tradition, Philippe Deshoulières, in collaboration with the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, set up a Living Museum of Porcelain in Foëcy. Decorating workshop, museum, engine room and historical retrospective offer a particularly attractive route.
